Puppy Training in Santa Clarita Valley
Help your puppy build good habits from the beginning. We work on age-appropriate obedience, potty and crate routines, confidence, and calm behavior while teaching you how to keep the training consistent at home.
Private lessons are a practical starting point for many puppies. Board & train may also be recommended after an evaluation, depending on age, health requirements, and training needs. In-home private lessons are required for any dog not fully vaccinated.
What We Work On
Good habits, from the beginning.
Potty and crate routines
We help you establish a consistent schedule, introduce the crate positively, and manage your puppy’s environment. Reliable habits take continued practice and appropriate supervision at home.
Mouthing, jumping, and household manners
Learn how to redirect mouthing, reward calm choices, and set clear boundaries. We help you understand which behaviors are normal puppy learning and how to guide them.
Early obedience and leash skills
Work may include name identification, sit, down, place, introductory recall, leash walking, and a release cue. We keep expectations appropriate to the puppy’s age and attention span.
Socialization and confidence
Socialization means helping your puppy feel comfortable around everyday sights, sounds, surfaces, people, and suitable dogs. Exposure is controlled and matched to your puppy’s readiness.
Owner coaching
We explain marker words, rewards, handling, and daily routines so everyone in your household can be consistent. Feeding routines and hand-feeding may be recommended as part of the individual plan.

Puppy Training Options
Private lessons or board & train.
Private puppy lessons
Facility lessons are $200 per hour. In-home lessons start at $250, subject to availability and distance. Six sessions are a common starting point for puppies and new dogs. A six-session facility option starts at $1,200. Other package formats are quoted before enrollment. The evaluation is separate, with up to $200 credited toward a purchased package.
Board and train for suitable puppies
Our standard board-and-train programs start at $3,000 for two weeks. An evaluation determines whether a puppy is ready for a stay and what length of program is appropriate. Training includes guidance for continuing the routines at home.
Age and Health Requirements
Starting from around eight weeks.
Puppies can begin age-appropriate private training from around eight weeks, with vaccination status and the training environment discussed before the first session. Boarding and group classes have their own health and eligibility requirements.
Group classes require dogs to be at least four months old, fully vaccinated, and suitable for training around other dogs. Ask us which option is appropriate for your puppy.
